BREAKING: I'm Getting Very Worried (with poll)

Tue Apr 29, 2008 at 12:00:15 PM PDT

Let me just start out by saying that I'm a huge Hillary Clinton supporter, I have been longer than almost anyone here.  Some of you are going to try to call me a 'concern troll' or whatever but you can't because I'm telling you not to.

But lately, I'm starting to really doubt that there is any chance for Hillary to get this nomination.  Over the jump for the brave at heart.

I think we are getting too distracted by the huge win in Pennsylvania.  That day, I felt like it's really going to happen.  She really is going to be Madam President.  And right now the Reverend Wright stuff is going great.  It's one of the best issues of the campaign so far.  The only mistake was not using him sooner.  And that's the problem.  I think Hillary is making her move too late.

The thing I realized is that even if Hillary wins Indiana next week, it's probably going to be by less than what Obama wins North Carolina.  So, he's going to wind up being up by more than 150 delegates with only a few small delegate battles left to go.  How long can we keep saying she's going to catch up?  I'm starting to wonder how she's going to catch up at all.

And what if she loses both Indiana and North Carolina?  That will totally freeze her out of the picture that night and Obama will give another one of his stupid speeches to a national audience.  I don't put it past him to start talking like the nominee if that happens either.  Who's going to stop him?  Hillary won't be able to give a speech if he wins both and everyone's going to be talking about how the Wright thing didn't hurt him and that the race is essentially over.

I'm thinking about sending more money so Hillary can win Indiana and keep that from happening but it seems like the best we can do is just keep it going for a while.  Is that really worth my money?   Hillary works hard but I'm putting in double shifts at the turd factory just to keep my credit cards from blowing up.  Does she still deserve a percentage of my income?  Will it make any difference in who the nominee is?  I'm starting to worry that all this might be doing is helping John McCain against Obama.  Call me crazy but I'm not stupid.

She HAS to be President but I'm just starting to get really concerned that she really did lose the race when she didn't catch up in OH and TX.  What does she need to do to get the rest of the superdelegates to back her?  I'm worried that her high negatives among so many voters might undercut her efforts to get them to go against the results of the pledged delegate battle.

Obama will never get elected, that much is obvious.  But unless she can get rid of about 150 of his pledged delegates, I don't see how she can overturn this.

Help me out here.
